Mafia Game Rules Objective:

Dweller: Identify and eliminate all Mafia members. Mafia: Eliminate all Townies, becoming the only remaining team. Number of Players:

Minimum 8 players, maximum 30 players. Optimal number is 10-15 players.

Roles:

Townies: Sheriff: Wakes up at night to check one player to see if they are Mafia. Doctor: Can save one player from being executed at night. Geisha: Can seduce one Mafia member at night, forcing them to skip their night actions. Other Dwellers: Have no special abilities.

Mafia: Don: Leader of the Mafia, who knows all members of their team. Mafia Members: Carry out the Don's orders, killing Townies at night.

Gameplay:

Role Distribution: The moderator assigns roles to the players, who keep them secret. Night: The moderator announces the start of the night, and all players close their eyes. Players with specific roles wake up in turn (usually in the order: Mafia, Sheriff, Doctor, Geisha,). Mafia: The Don gathers the team and they choose which Townie they want to kill this night. Sheriff: Can check one player to see if they are Mafia. Doctor: Can save one player from being executed this night. Geisha: Can seduce one Mafia member, forcing them to skip their night actions.

Day: The moderator announces the start of the day, and all players open their eyes. They discuss who they think might be Mafia. A vote is held to choose one player who is suspected of being Mafia. Players cannot talk about their role to anyone except the moderator. Players cannot vote for themselves.
